In the field of fingerprint recognition technology, glass-based chips represent higher technical barriers and performance standards. To date, only two companies worldwide have achieved mass production of glass-based fingerprint recognition chips: one is a Taiwanese company, and the other is Shenzhen Xinquhang Technology Co., Ltd.
Through five years of dedicated R&D, Xingqihang Technology has successfully overcome technical barriers, becoming one of the first companies in China to achieve mass production and successful commercialization of glass-based fingerprint recognition chips, and is now a leader in this technological field. This breakthrough not only fills a domestic technological gap but also demonstrates significant advantages across multiple core metrics.
Technological Leadership and Comprehensive Certifications
Xinqihang’s glass-based fingerprint chip was the first to pass the Ministry of Public Security’s three major certifications—liveness detection, algorithm evaluation, and fingerprint reader certification—while also obtaining relevant certifications from the U.S. FBI and Microsoft, establishing a comprehensive barrier of qualifications. This enables the product to be seamlessly adopted in high-security scenarios such as government and financial sectors.
Superior Performance and Outstanding User Experience
The chip features outstanding environmental adaptability, achieving a recognition rate of up to 95% for dry and wet fingers, as well as blurred fingerprints from the elderly and children. It supports a lifespan of one million presses and withstands extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C. Its ESD protection rating reaches ±8 kV for contact and ±15 kV for air discharge, far exceeding industry standards.
Independent Innovation, a Benchmark for Domestic Manufacturing
With over 60 core patents, Xinquhang has established a comprehensive technological moat. As a purely domestic chip manufacturer, Xingqihang is emerging as the preferred supplier for government and high-end commercial markets amid the wave of domestic substitution, leveraging the dual advantages of “technological leadership and cost optimization.”
From technological breakthroughs to mass production, Xingqihang’s glass-based fingerprint chip not only demonstrates the R&D capabilities of domestic chips but also secures a significant voice for Chinese chips in the global high-end chip sector.
