In the biometric device industry, the inspection report issued by the Ministry of Public Security’s Center for Safety and Police Electronic Product Quality Testing is regarded as the industry’s “national certification.” Recently, Shenzhen Xinquhang Technology’s CS466 multi-finger live fingerprint scanner successfully passed this rigorous test.

This “test” lasted over a month and was conducted in the laboratories of a national-level testing agency. The CS466 faced not merely simple functional tests, but a comprehensive “extreme challenge”: freezing at -10°C, baking at 55°C, exposure to a humid environment with 93% humidity, simulated vibrations and drops during transportation, as well as electrostatic shocks of up to ±8 kV contact discharge and ±15 kV air discharge. Each test was an ultimate test of the device’s stability.
Ultimately, the CS466 met all testing requirements in accordance with the “Technical Specifications for CS466 Multi-Finger Live Fingerprint Capture Devices” and successfully obtained Inspection Report No. Gongjingjian 2512110166. The value of this certificate lies not only in the authority of the issuing body but also in its proof that the product maintains stable and reliable performance even under extreme conditions.

Moving from the laboratory to real-world applications, CS466 has already launched small-scale pilot programs at select border checkpoints. Passing this “national-level test” is both a milestone and a new beginning—it signifies that domestically developed capacitive fingerprint capture technology is now ready to undergo practical testing in critical national sectors.
