A partial fingerprint left at a crime scene—old, blurry, incomplete, and distorted, or even found on unusual surfaces such as damp glass or rough concrete—poses significant challenges. Traditional equipment can only capture images without verifying their authenticity; its operation may compromise DNA evidence; and its limited resolution results in poor image quality. As a result, cases often reach a dead end.

And then, Xingqihang’s multi-finger live fingerprint scanner, the FAP60, made its debut.

It provides a fundamental solution at the hardware level. The FAP60 fingerprint scanner utilizes glass-based technology, delivering ultra-high-definition imaging at 500 DPI with a 1600×1500-pixel array, capturing even the finest details of fingerprint ridges and sweat pores. It accurately recognizes dry, wet, cracked, or slightly soiled fingers. Even with only partial ridges, it can extract sufficient feature points, ensuring that blurry prints no longer result in unsolved cases.

Clear capture is essential, but accurate identification is equally critical. Infrared liveness detection technology measures subcutaneous blood oxygen levels to automatically identify and reject fake fingerprints made from gel or conductive paste, preventing erroneous evidence from being entered into the database. Four-finger simultaneous capture takes just 0.25 seconds, with data transmitted directly to police terminals for on-site collection and instant comparison against the fingerprint database, significantly shortening the time window for solving cases.

Certified by the Ministry of Public Security for resident ID fingerprint scanners and live fingerprint modules, as well as by Microsoft and ISO, and backed by over 180 patents, the system is compatible with both domestic and international standards.

Incomplete fingerprints are no longer “unsolvable”—Xin Qihang ensures that every fingerprint collected at the scene has the opportunity to become a witness for justice.
